💜 Hey Chicago ARMY! Are you ready for BTS? Our BTS ARIRANG Chicago Cupsleeve Events are a THREE-DAY CELEBRATION!

Who’s behind the event?
We’re Yaira (AKA The Purple Court) and Nica (AKA Yoonminica). Yaira has been ARMY since 2017 and is a Spring Day truther for life, while Nica joined the fandom in 2019 and proudly claims Blood Sweat & Tears as her all-time favorite BTS song. Together, we’ve hosted 50+ BTS events across the greater Chicagoland area, helping keep the fandom connected and thriving while our seven completed their military service.

We are beyond excited to attend the BTS ARIRANG concerts in Chicago and celebrate this long-awaited new chapter with fellow ARMY. These ARIRANG concert events will also mark our retirement from hosting BTS events year-round after years of building community and creating unforgettable memories. Consider this our final chapter, our last hurrah, and the perfect way to close this era, surrounded by BTS and the ARMY fandom we love.

How do you make it work? This celebration is made possible by local Chicagoland BTS ARMYs, vendors, and volunteers—along with some out-of-state friends! Plus, we’re partnering with an amazing local boba tea shop and an art gallery to bring this experience to life. 💜

Interested in helping out? We are looking for ARMY volunteers. You'll help with the planning, decor, giving freebies & greeting ARMYs. We can't do this without help from YOU! All volunteers will receive a bundle of BTS ARIRANG fan-made items*, complimentary boba drink, water, and snacks as a thank you. 🙏 Apply here.

There's paid street parking around Chinatown. Plus a big paid parking lot in front of Chinatown Square. For street parking you can download the ParkChicago App, or pay at the designated machines.

Donation Tiers Pickup:

  1. Upon arrival you'll line up in the Tiers Holder line. Please present your order confirmation email to our volunteers. Only the tier holder is allowed inside, if you are with friends they cannot line up in the tiers holder line, they must either RSVP ahead of time or use the walk-in line. No exceptions.

  2. Once inside, you will be directed to purchase a cafe drink. We have a one cafe drink per order rule. No exceptions.

  3. When you have your drinks or receipt on hand, please head over to our host table there you’ll line up on the Tiers Holder line to pick up your tier(s). Please have your confirmation email handy when picking up, our volunteers will need this in order to check you off our list. (Email sender is yaira@thepurplecourt.com)

IMPORTANT!! 

If you purchased a Donation Tier, please do not RSVP. Your Donation Tier already serves as your RSVP and includes priority entry.

If you RSVP and present an RSVP QR code at check-in, you will be directed to the RSVP line and will forfeit the priority entry associated with your Donation Tier.

On the day of the event, there will be three lines:

• Donation Tier Holders (Priority Entry)
• RSVP Holders
• Walk-Ins

RVSP Line Up + Freebies:

We have a limited number of RSVP tickets available per date. Claim yours: August 26-27 tickets, August 29.

  1. Upon arrival you'll line up in the RSVP line. Please present your QR code to our volunteers.

  2. ALL members in your group must have a QR code. We have a limit of 8 tickets per group, if you need additional ones, make multiple reservations.

  3. Your ticket is only valid on the day and time you selected, if you miss your time slot, you'll need to use the walk-in line.

  4. Once inside everyone in your group will purchase a cafe drink. No exceptions.

  5. When you have your drinks or receipt on hand, please head over to our host table there you’ll pick up your freebies.


Walk-In Line Up + Freebies:

  1. Upon arrival, you will be directed to line up on our walk-in line. Once inside you'll purchase a cafe drink, if you’ll like to receive 4 freebies (cupsleeve, wristband and photocard) you need to purchase 4 drinks. If you only purchase 2 drinks, you'll receive 2 freebie sets. No exceptions.

  2. When you have your drinks or receipt on hand, please head over to our host table there you’ll pick up your freebies.

Giveaways

We'll be hosting flash hourly giveaways. Giveaways consist of products donated by our vendors with a retail value of $15+, everything is BTS themed.

Raffle tickets will be given to those in line, in the event someone is selected twice we will redraw to give everyone a chance.

FAQ

Q: If I select a paid tier do I still need to purchase drink in order to pick up?
A: Yes, everyone must purchase drink to pick up! We must support the cafe owners that allow us to use their space.

Q: Can you give me freebies for my friend?
A: Freebies are 1 PER customer (must purchase a drink), we can’t give freebies for your friends, our priority is serving ARMYs attending.

Q: What if I didn't pre-order a tier but want to buy one at the event, would there be any available?
A: We won't be selling tiers at the event. However we will have a limited amount of our products for sale on a first come, first served basis.

Q: I paid for a tier but was unable to pick it up, can you ship it?
A: Please email us (or use the Chat), with your order number. To coordinate shipping payment.
